Exciting New Partnership Launches Cutting-Edge ICT Center in Nigeria

We are thrilled to announce an incredible new partnership between I-TECH and AFOPET College to establish a state-of-the-art ICT training center in Erin-Oke, Nigeria! This new initiative aligns perfectly with I-TECH’s mission to empower underserved communities through technology and education.

The Late Christopher Abiodun Adewumi Oyinlola ICT Lab, made possible by I-TECH’s donation to AFOPET College, will provide specialized training and access to technology that students in Erin-Oke have never had before. We truly believe this will be transformational in opening up new opportunities for the talented young people of this community.

The new center is now equipped with 20 brand new computer systems containing the latest software, as well as other essential IT accessories needed for a cutting-edge instructional space. Even better, I-TECH has committed over 25 million naira in scholarship funds to remove barriers and make this education accessible.

We have also worked closely with AFOPET College to begin extensive trainer programs, ensuring their teachers are fully prepared to deliver the robust, meaningful curriculum that students deserve. The opportunities from this partnership seem endless!

The launch event on November 16th was a celebratory showcase of the potential this center unlocks for Erin-Oke. Government and community leaders joined students in looking ahead with hope and anticipation. The energy is palpable, and we at I-TECH could not be more eager to watch this initiative succeed over the coming months.
